About

logo_v3.jpgHave you ever wanted to buy something so bad but can’t afford it, then later finding that exact same thing at a different store for a much cheaper price? Doesn’t that make you feel like you’ve just won the lottery? Not only can you buy that thing you wanted, but you now have more than enough cash to spend it on something else!

What IS a Smart Spender
The idea of this site is being able to search for your item of purchase – then finding out a suggested store, in and around the Vancouver area, as to where to best purchase that item.

It’s about knowing that you’ve made the right purchase and why it is the best purchase. Knowing you’ve made the right purchase means that you’ve compared it with other stores in terms of quality, price, design, and much more!

What is NOT Smart Spender
This blog is not about the typical shopping blog discussing trends and fashions and what not. It’s not about shopping centers/ malls – and is definitely not about online shopping. This site does not include second-hand retailers and virtual stores such as Craigslist or eBay.

About the Author
I’m not big on shopping – mainly because when I go to malls, I tend to purchase uneccessary things that I later regret. I learned the hard way spending more that what I can afford.

Now, I tend to be really picky when I shop – which some say is more like smart spending: I only go shopping when I know I NEED something. Then I go only to stores where I know they sell that item. I go to different stores so I can compare price and quality – weigh them out, then purchase something that has the lowest price, yet have a high or fairly decent quality.

It’s not about shopping, it’s about being a smart spender!
