Gotta Have My Starbucks!

Vancouver just wouldn’t be the same without Starbucks. In fact, some tourists say that Vancouver has the most number of Starbucks available in each block. I mean, in Robson Street alone, there are over 3 Starbucks in a stretch of 10 blocks!

I know this blog is supposed to talk about smart spending. However, I just couldn’t pass up on mentioning Starbucks. I cave in to Starbucks myself. I mean, as a Vancouver resident, who could pass up the opportunity of walking around Robson St. carrying a Starbucks cup? It’s like one of those “you know you’re not from Vancouver when…you are not carrying a Starbucks cup while at Robson Street”. I guess you can say it’s a norm. Everyone does it! The fact that they’ve positioned themselves strategically makes it so convenient and accessible! They’re almost on every block! Also, I love their seasonal flavors:

• Winter: Eggnog Latte
• Summer: (White Chocolate) Mocha Coconut
• Fall: Pumpkin Spice Latte

Is it smart spending? I would say no. But it’s part of being a Vancouver resident! I would categorize this one as an exception.
